Department of Neonatal Intensive Care
Sick newborns are treated here, referred from the Obstetrical Department at Ullevål Hospital and Rikshospitalet.
The Unit has two sections, one at Ullevål Hospital and one at Rikshospitalet.
Both sections have a regional function for children born extremely preterm, and the section at Rikshospitalet has national function for newborns with congenital cardiac defects and certain other rare diseases.
