Successful PRC seminar conducted in Aarhus, Denmark Nov 16-18 2022

Luc Deliens received the G. W Hanks award on Friday the 18th of November 2022 at the PRC conference in Aarhus, Denmark. The award is in the memory of Professor G.W Hanks – the first professor in palliative medicine in Europe.

Luc Deliens is an outstanding researcher and teacher in palliative care from Brussels, Belgium. He has published more than 540 articles, with an H-index of 62. He has degrees in sociology and human ecology, and is the founding director of End of life care research group. He is chairing the reference group on Public Health and Palliative Care of EAPC, and the co-chair of EAPC research network.

He has successfully led and contributed to several EU collaborative for research in palliative care. And, inspiring and giving young researchers the possibility and platform for a carrier in palliative care research.

At the PRC seminar 2022 Luc Deliens presented the following lecture:
