Welcome as a new employee at Norway’s largest medical community! We’re pleased to have you on board and are looking forward to your arrival. When you start your employment at OUS, you will be an important piece in a large puzzle that both improves quality of life and saves lives for Norway's population every day. We depend on each and every employee doing as good a job as possible in order to fulfil our responsibilities. And now your efforts will make a valuable contribution!
Our onboarding programme "ny@OUS"
At our hospital all new employees must take part in an onboarding programme called "ny@ous" that consists of courses relevant for your work. Some courses are mandatory for all new employees at OUS, regardless of position and occupational category. There are courses that are available before you start your job. Within three months of starting, additional mandatory courses must also be completed. The courses provide a good and necessary introduction to important topics that all new employees should be aware of.
The course links below take you directly to the course once you have logged on to the Learning Portal.
Courses available before starting work :
Login on to the Learning Portal
When you have signed an employment contract with Oslo University Hospital, you will receive an e-mail with your username. When you have received this, you may:
- Go to https://kurs.helse-sorost.no/Login
- Click Innlogging
- Click “Glemt password” – do not register a new user.
- Choose your hospital, enter your username and choose to receive password information by text message.
If you are logging on using a smartphone, you must remember to allow popup windows in your settings.
Please follow this instruction for logging on to the Learning Portal ”Læringsportalen”. If you create a separate user in the Learning Portal”Læringsportalen”, the results of the e-learning courses will not be visible in the hospital’s systems, and you may have to retake the courses.
