Internship

Internship is a time-limited, unpaid employment where you participate in the department’s daily routines without having independent responsibility. This is not equivalent to compulsory student practice, which should always be arranged though the college/university you are attending.

If y​ou want an internship at Oslo University Hospital, please complete the application form. Once you have filled out the form, it will be processed by our executive officer. Only applications sent through this form will be considered.

What can you expect?

As an intern, you will first and foremost learn about how we work and how we are organized in the specialist healthcare service. Our internship programs reflect part of the treatments and services offered by OUS.

By visiting our hospital you can get

  • increased knowledge in one or more relevant disciplines / fields of work
  • increased knowledge of overall patient progress
