Institute for Surgical Research

The Institute for Surgical Research is an experimental research institute with a focus on molecular medicine and translational research within the most important clinical areas at Oslo University Hospital. The institute consists of an interdisciplinary team of biochemists, molecular biologists, physiologists, physicists and physicians. We have strong research programs within cardiovascular research, cancer research and stem cell research. The institute is led by Professor Håvard Attramadal.
