Coronary artery disease
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common cardiac disease leading to increased morbidity and mortality worldwide. Early and automatic detection of this devastating disease is obviously important in the acute phase, but also in chronic phases to prevent further CAD progression and heart failure development due to ischemic cardiomyopathy. ProCardio’s research in CAD is centered around the IMPROVE study focusing on imaging and sudden cardiac death prevention in CAD.
