Fall meeting 2023
The annual fall meeting was held at Holmen Fjordhotell September 14. - and 15.
The fall meeting started off with all T-leaders and partners providing an update on their respective projects.
Following the updates, Lasse Løvstakken from NTNU presented an update specifically on A.I. projects and Eivind Holt from DIPS shed light on the advancements made in the area of natural language processing.
The event also included guest speaker, Renate Simonsen from NRC, giving an introduction to innovation funding oppertunities from NRC and Eigil Samset, GE Healthcare, introduced and lead a workshop on Entrepreneurship, innovatoin, LEAN and product development. The last session aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and provide participants with strategies to drive innovation within their organizations.
In addition to the annual updates of workplans, workshops were also conducted on various topics related to natural language processing, AI models in Echo/CVI, DCM (planning of RCT), high frame rate ultrasound, as well as automatic detection in MVP and NeuECG. These workshops allowed participants to engage in interactive sessions and learn about the latest developments in these areas.
The social event in the evening included the traditional highly competetive quiz. The participants could unwind, socialize and demonstrate their knowledge in a friendly and entertaining setting. The winner were, of course, properly celebrated during the dinner.
