Collaboration with Industry
For all interaction and collaboration with industry, it is important that impartiality and conflicts of interest are safeguarded in a responsible manner.
Guidelines for collaboration with industry have been established at Oslo University Hospital, available in eHåndboken (in Norwegian only). Documents of special relevance are:
- Guideline for other occupations for OUS employees
- Collaboration with industry
- Collaboration with industry in R&D projects
For all interaction and cooperation with industry, it is important that impartiality and conflicts of interest are properly safeguarded, not least as part of research collaboration. In the guidelines for collaboration with industry in R&D projects you will find useful information about what is important to keep in mind. Conflicts of interest in research are also relevant from a research ethics perspective. For more information, see the Research Ethics Library website.
Agreements that establish a framework for collaboration and contract research have been established between the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority (HSØ) and the Pharmaceutical Industry (LMI) as well as with Melanor (organization for medical devices industry). The collaboration agreements apply to all hospitals in the HSØ region and can be found as attachments to the eHåndboken document Collaboration with Industry (in Norwegian only).
