Travel
Oslo University Hospital campus Rikshospitalet is located in Oslo, approximately one mile from the city centre. The city is well served by two airports and a great public transport system. You can reach us from the majority of European capitals within three or four hours. The conference will take place at campus Rikshospitalet, in the B1 building. We will be using the “Store auditorium” and the “gront, rødt, og blatt auditorium” as seen in this map https://www.uio.no/om/finn-fram/omrader/gaustad/rikshospitalet/

Getting to the conference venue from Oslo city centre
Public transportation
Public transportation in Oslo and adjacent cities is organised by Ruter https://ruter.no/en. Visit their website for more information on fares, timetables, journey planners and online ticket bookings.
Metro (“T-bane”)
The closest subway stations to the venue are “Gaustad” (800 m to main entrance) and “Forskningsparken” (1000m to main entrance).
Bus (“Buss”)
The closest bus stations are “Gaustad” (600m to the main entrance) and “Rikshospitalet” (50 m to main entrance).
Trams (“Trikk”)
Note: Due to construction work at the hospital campus, the tram station next to the main entrance are out of service!
Trams number 18 and 17 stops at station “John Colletts plass” (1,5 km from main entrance). Be mindful if you use travel options by tram.
Driving by car
At campus Rikshospitalet, parking is in the parking garage (main car park) which is about 250 meters walk from the main entrance. You can choose whether you want to pay by card, coin or Easy Park’s mobile phone solution.

- 975 NOK per week
We advise using public transportation, as parking is limited and costly. If you are travelling by car to the conference and are also booking overnight accommodation, we recommend that you ask the hotel if they have on-site parking.
Airport
Gardermoen Airport is the main airport, and the closest one to the Oslo City centre, about 30 minutes by train/buss. Torp Sandefjord Airport is situated south of Oslo, it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to get to Oslo Sentral Station from this airport. Getting from the Airports to Oslo city centre
By Bus
https://flybussen.no/ operates from the Gardermoen airport to the city centre with several lines. The FB3 line with the stop at Gaustad is the closest one to the conference venue and takes about 1 hour from the airport.
https://www.torpekspressen.no/en/ operates from Torp airport and takes 1 hour 35 minutes.
By Train
The train ride from Gardermoen Oslo Airport to the city centre takes about 20 minutes. Gardermoen Oslo Airport is serviced by https://flytoget.no/ and https://www.vy.no/en .

Disembark at Oslo Central Station and use bus, subway or tram to get to the conference venue.
By Taxi
Gardermoen: approved taxis operate from the Airport taxi rank outside the terminal building. Wheel-chair accessible taxis are available. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from the airport to the city centre. If you are taking a taxi from the airport, we recommend that you visit the Taxi booking kiosk, which is located outside the terminal on the ground level in the same area where the taxi picks up passengers. There you will be able to order a taxi, as well as find an overview of prices to most addresses in Eastern Norway. Normally, the taxi arrives within 3 to 5 minutes.
