The G.W Hanks award is an annual award in memory of Professor Geoffrey Warren Hanks – the first professor in palliative medicine in Europe. This prestigious award celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to palliative medicine research through their dedication, hard work, and impact on the field”.
