TIPS Sør-Øst inviterer til to dagers workshop med Douglas Turkington og Sara Tai. Begge har lang erfaring både som klinikere og forskere innen kognitiv terapi ved psykose. Møt to briljante kunnskapsformidlere som byr på klinisk relevante og praktiske tilnærminger.
Seminaret passer for alle behandlere, uavhengig av om du kan kognitiv terapi fra før. Undervisningen vil foregå på engelsk.

Følgende tema vil belyses i workshopen:
Working with alcohol and substance abuse in psychosis
Learn how to form an alliance and which goals to prioritize in the setting of both psychosis and substance misuse. Learn how to blend motivational interviewing and CBT techniques. Know how to work with the classical psychoses caused by substances ego persistent hallucinatory disorder and delusions of jealousy and infidelity. Be aware of the breakthroughs being made with therapeutic doses of psilocybin linked to therapy.
Techniques for dissociation, complex PTSD and psychosis
Learn effective techniques to gain conscious control over dissociation. Learn how to use reprocessing approaches within the setting of psychosis.
Compassion Focused therapy for voices and persecutory paranoia
Learn how to adapt Gilbert’s compassionate mind techniques to deal with critical hallucinations and persecutory paranoia. Such techniques include the use of the 3-chair technique and compassionate imagery.
The Doug and Sara casebook of fascinating and unusual psychoses
Certain key breakthroughs from the past 30 years of CBT for Psychosis practice have led to key insights into the nature of psychosis and recovery. Sara and Doug role-play and discuss their most influential cases.
